Love Sunday Barbecue & Easter Egg Hunt , Sunday, April 27<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span>th<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/sup>, Fundraiser for our Mission Partners<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span>:\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span>On Sunday, April 27<\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span><\/sup>, Love Sunday, St. Alban\u2019s Women Service Group will be hosting a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Love Sunday Barbecue to benefit our Mission Partners<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span>.<\/b><\/span><\/span>\u00a0We will be offering a meal of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Pulled Pork Barbecue, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, and Corn Bread for Dine In or Take Out<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span>. The Take Out meals will be available after the 8:30 am Service. Dine In Service will begin following the 11:00am Service.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>The suggested donation is $15 per person or $30 per family<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Please sign up<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span>\u00a0in the Narthex and indicate Take Out or Dine In.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All St. Alban\u2019s Youth and grandchildren or friends of our congregation members are invited to participate in a Traditional Egg Hunt during the Love Sunday Barbecue. Additionally, we will be playing an\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Easter Egg Prize Game for fun lovers of all ages<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span>! We will need prize donations for the Egg Prize Game. Suggestions include<\/span><\/span>: pies and other delicious homemade baked goods, bottles of wine, flats of flowers or herbs for planting, any gift you\u2019ve received that you would like to re-gift, etc.<\/b><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Please sign up<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span>\u00a0in the Narthex to provide a prize or two or three and get ready to have fun playing the Egg Game!!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, John wrote to Gaius in 3 John 1: 5-8, \u201c Beloved, it is a faithful thing you do in all your efforts for these brothers, strangers as they are, who testified to your love before the church. You will do well to\u00a0<\/span><\/span>send them on their journey in a manner worthy of God.<\/b><\/span><\/span>\u00a0For they have gone out for the sake of the name, accepting nothing from the Gentiles<\/span><\/span>. Therefore we ought to support people like these, that we may be fellow workers for the truth<\/b><\/span><\/span>.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We are called to support through our giving our Mission Partners. Some of you make ongoing gifts to our Missionaries and that\u2019s great. But together, through our fellowship, we can provide even more support.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
