St. Alban's Women (SAW) Bible Study and Fellowship Schedule 2024-2025:
St. Alban's Women Bible Study - No matter your age, this time of year brings thoughts of "back to school". For St. Alban's Women, it also means "Back to Bible Study"! St. Alban's Women Bible Studies are held on the Second and Fourth Tuesday of each month, beginning September 17, 2024, from 7 - 9 pm. We meet in person in the Fellowship Hall with an option to attend virtually via Zoom. All the women of St. Alban's and their friends, who may be seeking an enriching Bible Study, are invited to join our study.
On 9/17/2024 we will begin a 10 part video based study of 1, 2, & 3 John by Jen Wilkin entitled "Abide". Jen Wilkin is unique in her approach to Bible Study in that we will study 1, 2, & 3 John verse by verse during her teaching videos. She asks and answers alot of the questions everyone has when they read their Bible, mainly "what does that mean?". "Abide" will focus on the apostle John's three short letters to an early church facing division, deception, and doubt. John encourages them to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. Jen Wilkin will helps us see how John's words call to us, in similar challenges, to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth.
St. Alban's Women Bible Study will meet on the following dates for the "Abide" Bible Study: 9/17, 10/8, 10/22, 11/12, 11/26, 1/14, 1/28, 2/11, 2/18, 3/11. The St. Alban's Annual Christmas Home Eucharist & Cookie Exchange is scheduled for 12/10/2024. In the Spring of 2025 we will begin a new 5 session Bible Study to be announce later.
